Here’s a first-of-the-month update from the city engineer on the Kramer Rehabilitation Project and the Kramer Bridge Project:
The Kramer Rehabilitation Project is currently scheduled to be fully opened the week of September 9, coinciding with the time of the start of school. This project on the North
Kramer Parkway between Country Vista to Sprague involves fixing longstanding deterioration, divots, and potholes on that road, as well as updating structures along this route that
provide services for water, sewer, storm drains, and electrical needs. Paving dates are scheduled for Aug. 5, Aug. 16, and Sept. 2. The roundabout at Kramer and Mission is also
expected to be completed at this same time.
The Kramer Bridge Project, which is creating the new overpass across I-90, is now not expected to be completed until spring of 2023. This project is unrelated to the Kramer
Rehabilitation Project, and is happening between Mission and Country Vista. We learned in late July that supply chain issues on the supports for the bridge have resulted in
delaying full delivery of the project this year.
