An annual report has named Liberty Lake as one of the 20 safest cities in Washington -- and one of just three cities in the eastern part of the state to be on that list.
Liberty Lake places at #19 on the 8th annual survey produced by the online safety resource organization known as SafeWise. From crime data gathered by the FBI in 2021, Liberty Lake is shown to have a violent crime rate that's half of the statewide average, and a property crime rate that's about one-third less than the Washington's statewide average.
