CITY OF LIBERTY LAKE: City of Liberty Lake Weekly Update for November 18, 2020

Announcement

City of Liberty Lake issued the following announcement on Nov. 18.

What's Happening In The City Of Liberty Lake?

-The Parks and Arts Commission completed another signal box project located at Signal and Appleway.  STCU generously sponsored the wrap by artist Frankie Benka.

-A full City street sweep has begun and will continue through the week to remove leaves and debris that can cause ice buildup and back up storm drains and swales.

-The irrigation project at Pavillion Park has begun and will be completed in the Spring of 2021.

-The Harvard Rd Bridge Widening project is rescheduled to start mid-February of 2021, due to weather delay. The estimated project completion is August 2021.

-The Parks and Arts Commission is accepting applications for one vacant position, and three positions opening up January 1, 2021.  

 -The library will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.

-The Liberty Lake Library is offering contact-free holds pickup Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturday from 10am-3pm. For more details about the service, contact the library at 509-232-2510.

-The Fall Leaf Pickup is looking a bit different this year.  There will be no leaf pickup, instead, residents can bring their bagged leaves to the Sewer District site from November 2 through November     20.  

-Winter Glow setup for Orchard Park is underway!  Lights will be turned on November 21, 2020!

-A reminder from LLPD:   The kiosk for old medical prescriptions will be available for use in the PD Lobby once the COVID restrictions have been lifted.
