City of Cheney issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
City of Cheney offices will be closed on Thursday & Friday, November 26 & 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Cheney Solid Waste crews will be back at work on Friday, so customers who usually have Thursday garbage service will have Friday pickup, instead. This applies to both residential carts and commercial dumpster service. Regular service hours will resume on Monday, November 30.
