The Spokane Board of County Commissioners recently approved unanimously to launch a $10.8 million grant program to provide financial relief to local hospitality and entertainment businesses, according to a release by Greater Spokane Inc.
Resources for the Spokane County Hospitality Relief Grant program is provided through Federal CARES Act funding and will be used to help offset safety and operating costs, rent, and other related expenses for businesses in the hospitality and entertainment sectors.
Eligible business can apply for up to $20,000 in grant funds to reopen and stay open while complying with state and local COVID-19 guidelines including wearing masking, maintaining social distancing, sanitation, and other costs associated with employee and customer safety.
