Mental Health First Aid on August 31,2022

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) a program designed for everyone to learn how to support someone who has a mental health problem or is experiencing a mental health crisis. Open to

EWU students, staff and faculty.

MHFA is an 8-hour course guided by certified trainers. This course teaches participants how to assist people who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening

of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.

Space is limited and registration is required. Participants must attend BOTH session dates (total of 8 hours of instruction) to obtain a certification. Please call 509-359-2366 to get

signed up or if you have any questions. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday August 24, so you have time to complete pre-work.
