Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes 4 Lateral Deputies
On April 1, 2022, Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich swore in four new Lateral Deputies. Please help us welcome Deputy Craig Reeves, Deputy Joey Brennan, Deputy Josh Runnels, and Deputy Atticus Patterson to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Craig Reeves is 44-years-old and started his law enforcement career with the Caldwell Police Department (Caldwell, NJ) in 2004. In 2006, he was hired by the Riverside Police Department (Riverside, CA) and was most recently assigned to their Traffic Unit as a Motor Officer.
Deputy Joey Brennan is 28-years-old and comes to us from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department (Las Vegas, NV). He served LVMPD since 2017 and was assigned to their specialty FLEX unit before joining our agency.
Deputy Josh Runnels is 33-years-old and began his law enforcement career in 2008 with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (Riverside, CA). In 2012, he joined the Battle Ground (WA) Police Department, where he served as a Patrol/FTO Sergeant and Defensive Tactics Instructor.
Deputy Atticus Patterson is 26-years-old and comes to us from the Salina Police Department (Salina, KS), where he has served since May 2021. He graduated from Gonzaga University in 2017 with a degree in Political Science while on an athletic scholarship (Crew). In 2020, he earned his Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of San Diego School of Law.
