City of Spokane Valley recently issued the following announcement on March 11.
The City of Spokane Valley is recruiting for a full-time Legislative Policy Coordinator. This new position is responsible for coordinating the city’s legislative/policy agenda which includes assisting with ongoing collaboration and outreach with stakeholders and partners across state, county, and federal legislative bodies.
The Legislative Policy Coordinator will provide assistance to city leadership enhancing the interface between the City Manager, City Council, and the State Legislature regarding plans, policies, procedures, and the evaluation of current and future budgetary and policy needs.
This position also interacts with state and federal lobbyists in the coordination, development and implementation of comprehensive and proactive legislative strategies to facilitate the city’s interactions with state and federal representatives.
