Cheney Public Schools issued the following announcement on Oct. 27.
Information for our families:
"The Christmas Bureau is an annual holiday assistance program coordinated by Catholic Charities Eastern Washington, Volunteers of America, and the Spokesman-Review that provides grocery vouchers, books and toys to individuals and families throughout the Greater Spokane area. Nearly 30,000 people were served last year. Due to COVID-19, the Christmas Bureau has moved to an online application and drive through format. Applicants must register online BEFORE November 6th at www.cceasternwa.org/christmas-bureau. Grocery vouchers will be mailed to all approved applicants and gifts for children will be picked up in a socially distanced drive-thru at the Fairgrounds by appointment only."
