On Saturday, May 17, former Mead High School standout Xavier Hattenburg’s current collegiate team the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens won 2-1 against the La Verne Leopards in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Ben Hines Field at 3:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the La Verne Leopards in the tournament.

The Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at Ben Hines Field.
